All visitors including government officials, travel agents, travel bureaus, dive operators, accommodation service providers, culinary service providers, business enterprises legally operating in Komodo National Park, souvenir sellers, tour guides, interpreters, tourists, and other associated stakeholders, are prohibited to:

1. Ignore the instructions/guidance/directions of the Komodo National Park rangers and/or naturalist guides stationed in the park;

2. Trek and explore the wilderness beyond the operating hours in Komodo National Park;

3. Directly interact or be too close with the wildlife found in the forests or seas within Komodo National Park;

4. Dive without being accompanied by diving instructors in Komodo National Park;

5. Feed any wildlife found in Komodo National Park;

6. Litter in Komodo National Park;

7. Operate small-unmanned aircraft/drones without permit in Komodo National Park;

8. Enter Komodo National Park without purchasing all necessary tickets in accordance with the Government

9. Regulation No. 12 Year 2014 Concerning the Types and Fees of Non-Tax State Revenues Applied in the Ministry of Forestry Republic of Indonesia;

10.	Anchor on shallow waters less than 30-meters in depth or in the habitat of giant manta rays around Komodo National Park;

11.	Operate speedboat or other marine vessels at high speeds on diving sites/snorkeling sites/other high biodiversity areas in Komodo National Park;

12.	Trek beyond the designated trails in Komodo National Park;

13.	Collect/Remove/Transport any kind of natural resources found from Komodo National Park without a legal permit from the Minister of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia;

14.	Collect/Remove/Transport any wildlife parts found (dead/alive) from Komodo National Park without a legal permit from the Minister of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia;

15.	Generate a loud noise or paly music instruments at high volumes in Komodo National Park, especially at Kalong Rinca Island and some other areas who have yellow-crested cockatoos;

16.	Conduct water sports activities (jet skis, sea-doos, banana boats, flyboards, or other similar instruments) in Komodo National Park;

17.	Set up campfires, throw cigarette buts, or carrying dangerous equipment that may be harmful to the wildlife and human or might cause a forest fire while being presence in Komodo National Park;

18.	Conduct vandalism or damage the tourism infrastructures in Komodo National Park;

19.	Bring pets to Komodo National Park without a legal permit from the Superintendent of Komodo National Park;

20.	Carry gun fires, air rifles, and other dangerous hunting tools into Komodo National Park; 

21.	Bring or ignite fireworks in Komodo National Park;

22.	Organize a dinner set-up and or barbecues or other cooking activities on the coast and inland areas within Komodo National Park;

23.	Disrupt or cause public disturbance while being presence in Komodo National Park;

24.	All visitors are required to comply, inform, and supervise the implementation of the above rules to their respective tourists’ groups;
